Ah, Chamonix

The yarn gods have smiled upon my mailbox once again! Lo and behold, the Jaeger Chamonix I ordered had arrived. From an earlier post, you know this extra-fine merino / angora blend has been discontinued, meaning I just had to score a skein or ten.

I got the sad news via email this morning that only one of my 10-packs was available. The other color, Montpellier, was completely gone from the Jaeger distributor's shelves. Quel dommage...

In any case, enjoy this bowl-full of Biarritz sporting my rosewood Lantern Moon needles. Believe me when I tell you this stuff feels good!
