Score!

Well, what do I spy with my little eye? A key in the mailbox! That means some or all (*gasp*) the fruits of last week's buy-athon have arrived. Two USPS boxes and one Royal Air Mail parcel later, and I am in (mostly) alpaca heaven.

Todays yarn haul

The score includes 10 skeins each of cream and charcoal Plymouth Indiecita, 4 skeins of Stampato Extra-fine merino courtesy of Woodland Woolworks, 10 skeins of copper colored baby alpaca from eBay seller Mystic Inca, and another bag of Rowan Cork in Chilly from Janette's Rare Yarns.

Oh, by the way, I've finished working the baby boom for another couple of months. Now, I'm on to a couple of UFOs that have languished since April: a green cotton knit and crochet sweater that I'm designing as I go, the front of a Voque Knitting vest mixing Lorna Laces and Debbie Bliss' merino (just in time for fall), and a loverly drop-stitch ribbon scarf for a friend in need.

Somewhere along the line, I'll start on some of the patterns I've acquired like the One Skein Wonder, ChicKnits Ribby Cardi, and a top-down cardigan from Knitting Pure and Simple. Phew!

I'm looking to purchase 1 or 2 skeins of plymouth indiecita alpaca, color 1090. Do you have any you'd like to sell?

Unfortunately, the Plymouth Indiecita alpaca is no longer in residence.
