OK. I Lied

I promised I wouldn't start one darned thing until I finished Mom's sweater. I'm weak, alright?! It's starting to cool down here in the Midwest and the lure of all that luscious yarn and gorgeous patterns I've hoarded, um, acquired over time was just too strong.

Enter Brooks Farm Primero Kid Mohair and scarfStyle pattern, "Misty Garden". I'd been bouncing around some ideas for my beautiful, silky yarn, so when I saw it on the Naive Knitter's blog, I knew it was meant to be.

I have some time off, during which I plan to keep my word. I will finish that sweater in September. Cross my heart. Stick a needle. Etc.
