Swatch This Space
Watch out, kids! I have another design in mind. This time, it's a sweater inspired by an edging I saw in Nicky Epstein's "Knitting on the Edge". I just had to swatch it:
The yarn is Debbie Bliss' chunky merino, so this will definitely be a winter warmer -- the shaping and design of which should suit a variety of body types. It'll be a while before I've worked it all out, but I wanted to offer a preview of coming attractions.
This time, I'll write down what I'm doing as I do it instead of after the fact. That should (hopefully) make pattern creation a bit easier. Fingers crossed.

Oh that is a really pretty embellishment! I just checked that book out fromt he library, and it seems to be a great source of inspiration for new designs.
Thank you by the way for the encouragement on my un-design based on Blaze. This whole design thing is new to me, so I'll be watching this space for more inspiration to roll up my sleeves and crank something out!
I totally wish i could make up a pattern for a sweater or something... I'm so impressed!!
