Fresh Off The Needles
Well, I said I was "hooking" up a hat to go with the Brooks Farm mohair scarf, and here it is. Literally hooked, er, crocheted, that is. The truth is I've never knit a hat in my life so it was just easier for me to whip this ear-flap puppy up via crochet. It's difficult to see in the photo, but the center section of the hat is actually a wave pattern - very similar to the knitted scarf. The little danglies off the ear-flaps are just for fun.
I expect this'll keep me nice and toasty when the real cold weather hits these parts.

That is a beautiful set!!
I bet it will definately keep you toasty.
Is the yarn as beautiful in real life as it is in the photographs?
Believe me when I tell you that the yarn is even more scrumptious in person, though the photo is a decent representation of it.
My first visit to your blog. That set is FABULOUS!
