Questions and Comments
I get so energized by my friends, stitchers or not, real and virtual. Your encouragement heartens me when I start dragging a$$. You even remind me that, in one way or another, you're in my corner - even when I'm not necessarily doing my best (though I try!). I just wanted to say, "Thank you." Now, on to answers for some recent comments.
Miss McSpazzitron asked, "Any new design projects yet for 2006?" No, not yet. I do hope to publish the Swirl Turtleneck pattern in time for spring, as I think it would be a wonderful addition to any girl's wardrobe if done in a cotton blend. One never knows what may come from my fertile mind, however. My sketch book is always at the ready.
FluffyKnitterDeb says, "I see you've been bitten by the bead bug HARD :)" Oh, yes Ma'am! It is true what you say. I just got an email from Beadworks yesterday with some lovely Bohemian lampworked glass beads. Don't know what I'll do with them, but I'm ordering a few nonetheless.
Finally, to all of you wishing me best of luck in the Lace and Bead event, despite this yucky cold that has reared its ugly head, I'm gonna knit like the wind and hope for the best! Gotta represent for Team Chicago, though the only one I'm competing against is myself.
Go-go-go all of you, too: "Citius, Alitius Fortius!"
p.s. Nik and Syl say "Meow. And gracias." Yes, my felines speak many human languages.

Faster higher and stronger? For knitting?
I've been sidelined on this Knitting Olympics craze, but not for lack of interest. I think it's a commitment issue. But you must represent our little corner of the blogosphere, and I'll be cheering on Team Chicago (you)!
Go Team Chicago!
