Rest and Relaxation

Nik and Syl asleep
My stash pictures are organized and labeled. Ahem, at least the pictures of the stuff I'm showing are ready. So I'll just take a moment to answer the question posed by Terri:
"I am coming to Chicago in Mayish, any suggestions of a great LYS to visit? While I am not brave enough to flash my stash, I am always willing to add to it."
Terri, while I don't endorse any particular establishment, I've heard of (or experienced) good things at many of the LYS listed at the Windy City Yarn Guild. Don't know where you're staying, but if you're in downtown Chicago, be sure to check out Loopy Yarns and We'll Keep You in Stitches. Northside, there's Knitters Niche, Nina, Arcadia and Knitting Workshop for yarnish entertainment.

And when I'm in the vicinity, I personally think that Tangled Web in Oak Park is worth a drop-in. If you're feeling the need for fine fiber, as well as fondling Blue Moon Fiber Arts (think Socks That Rock!) in person, The Fold is about a 1.5 hour drive from Chicago.

Now, until the flashing, I'm off to do what Nikita and Sylvia are doing. Ciao!

I just visited Chicago in March and I found the WCKG's website -very- handy. That's what I used to plan all my yarn shop visits.
