Pack It Up!

It really just hit me last night. In less than one week, I'll be in Amsterdam! One would think I'd be pulling together my wardrobe, but no. For me, its all about the yarn and the projects I'll be working on.

I've decided there will be three of them, for variety's sake: a ruffle-edged baby sweater in pink cotton blend (Reynolds Utopia pattern), lace ribbed socks in Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock (Heart Strings) and a crochet cravat using Michelle's yarn (One Skein pattern).

While in the "Venice of the North," I plan on hooking up with a lively group of local knitters, sample the city's attractions and enjoy the fun and frolic of the Queen's Birthday. I'm all ready to get my orange* on! By the way, friends desiring postcards should email me their info. I'm making a list, kids!

And what about clothing? Yeah. I'll pack some of that, too.
