I Blame Knit Bloggers!
Dear Enablers,
I came home tonight to two things in my mailbox: the Summer '06 edition of Interweave Knits and three skeins of Claudia Handpainted Euroflax.

Had I not been a lurking habitue of Mason-Dixon Knitting and some 3-dozen other blogs, I would have never known about such delights as Euroflax or Lorna's Laces or Malabrigo or Fleece Artist or (insert fabulous yarn here). Additionally, my shelves would not be populated by the likes of Barbara Walker, Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, Ann Budd, Nancy Bush, Nicki Epstein, Wendy D. Johnson or Ann and Kay.
Naturally, I don't hold you completely responsible. There is this little thing called "free will" I suppose. Thing is, you've seen my yarn stash. I am powerless against these forces of good yarn, intriguing patterns and clever turns of phrase.
You've introduced me to a world of color, creativity and community. All that's left to say is, "Thank you."
- Karen B.
p.s. Madame Sylvia sends a "meow out" as well. My aging sweet pea seems to be sailing right along these days.

Whoa! That yarn is gorgeous. I went to the site but didn't see anything quite as lovely as that. Great catch!
I'm with you, blogging is the worst thing for my budget! It's like going to the market when you're really hungry, you want to buy EVERYTHING! That euroflax is yummy!
I think Madame Sylvia is happy about the IK and yarn too :) Lovely yarn - always tasteful yarns you show! Terry
Madame - as always, you take home the "Best Shopping Award".
I don't know how you do it -
Thanks for the compliments on the Claudia Handpainted. Look for it at www.yarnexpressions.com/yarn_catalog/claudia_files/linen.html
It is almost scary how much your Madame Sylvia looks like my cat, Mona! Wow! We have good taste in the cats we choose for companions. And in yummy yarn. ;-)
