Knit Wishes (a bit of doggerel)

If wishes came true, I would knit day and night.
I'd complete all my WIPs and they'd all fit just right.

If wishes came true, not one kitty would die.
They'd be happy and healthy. Their spirits would fly!

If wishes came true, my spine wouldn't hurt.
My hand wouldn't shake and I'd finish this shirt (or
sweater, or camisole, or socks).

If wishes came true, Deb's computer would work.
Bonne's Mom would be well. Bosses wouldn't be jerks.

If wishes came true, I'd use all the yarn I could muster,
And stitch by stitch, knit peace of mind for the world entire.
(I know it doesn't exactly rhyme, but it's worth wishing in any case.)
