Which Way To Go?

Despite my cranky, creaky old wing, I do manage a few rows here and there. Thanks, by the way, for those friends of mine who are being extra-patient with my turtle's pace progress. Youse are da best!

It's almost decision time with one of the more pressing projects and I could use you guys input on this. You may remember some bamboo yarn I purchased a while back which started life as the CeCe sweater for my mum. Well, I ripped it out and balled it up until a better project came along. It's now well on its way to becoming a flaming camisole for a dear friend. But here's the rub: as I knit a few inches up, I find I prefer the texture emerging on the so-called "wrong" side.

It's a simple flat rib, but because of the yarn's vivid color variations, the slight channel in the stockinette gets lost. And that is where you come in. I know you guys don't have particularly strong opinions (ha!), but please tell me which is more pleasing: Side A or Side B.

It matters cuz I'm getting close to the point where I either knit a seed stitch bodice for Side A, or go stockinette up top for Side B. The pattern from Sarah Dallas "Vintage Knits" calls for Side A and seed stitch, but since I'm not using solid colors there's something about B that appeals.

Can ya help a knitter out of this fork in the road?

Side B is neater, IMO, and not working seed stitch would make it go a little faster, methinks. :)

Side B for sure, side a's design gets lost in the color change and the single knit column will emphasis the shaping and figure.

I'm with you and the others, I really like side B! The texture of the stitches and the ribbing show up so much better there.

I'm w. you too, I like the B side lots more. Do you think if you knit thru the back side the channel wd. stand out even more? Or is it when you purl that single stitch (oooh, too early in the am hee-hee) Terry
