Ahoy, Matey!
A fair wind, indeed! One baby sock per day with a day's rest in between and we have the cutest little pair of Broadripples I've ever made. OK, so they're my first ones. But they are adorable nonetheless.

Pattern: Pint-sized adaption of Rob Matyska's Broadripples pattern
Materials: Half-ball each, Debbie Bliss Cashmerino, color 306 (dusty pink) and 102 (beige)
BTW, Lori raised a good point in the comments regarding babies and small things like beads. The beads on the sweater are double knotted on both sides, but they can be easily removed by cutting the crochet cord. Just in case, I'm sending the socks tied up in enough white satin ribbon to replace the cord altogether should Olivia's mom decide to do so. Pretty is good, but safety is better where babies are concerned :o)
Next, its back on the Addi's to finish a pair of November birthday anklets for another friend. I'm getting this knitting in while the getting is good!
