First Snow
October 12th and my purple sage has been kissed by the season's first snow. A few moments later, the snow stopped and the sun reappeared.

Wow! was it a surprise? We (out here in SF) are expecting our annual "Indian summer" the city's summer weather that comes in the fall. Love the pic- the purple and green stand out so beautifully. Hope you are well :) Terry
Wasn't that the strangest morning? I was watching from my living room, knitting away, and the wind was whipping and the snow was flying... and then suddenly it was gorgeous. And then it snowed again. And then it was sunny again... I heard someone say several years ago, "don't like the weather in Chicago? Wait 15 minutes." Indeed.
