Start to Finish
If I've learned anything from my work life as a project manager, it is to prioritize for the quickest win; in other words, go for the low-hanging fruit. That is how I was able to make quick work of one of the items recently resurrected from the Knitting Dead Pool: my brother's once and former scarf.
Begun in November, 2005 but sadly forgotten by January, 2006:
Today, morphed from scarf to 20 grafted inches of now-circular cables:
At the finish line one year later, the scarf transforms into quite a handsome hat (top view)!
Yes, Virginia. There is life after the Big Plastic Bag.

So cool! Great job!
Beautiful!! That's how to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear :)
Love. It. How clever of you, and the resurrection of projects is quite a noble pursuit.
What a gorgeous hat it's become. Yay you!
Good lord, I have no idea how you did that, but it looks great.
