Branching Out - Again
I believe I covered the waterfront pretty well in 2006, as I pursued most all of my knitting resolutions:
Aside from working on a few improvements to this website, I've got some other ideas rumbling around inside La Cabeza Grande (my big, giant head) that may well mean some of my designs actually move from sketch-book page to pattern in 2007. Don't know how all this will play out, but I've already taken the first steps. More when this nascent plan evolves beyond the notion stage.
So nothing big in the resolution department. Just a vague plan to keep moving forward and allow the creative part of me to flourish a bit more.
1. learn to knit socksI plan to continue the trend of branching out from my comfort base again this year. Naturally, there will be more socks, especially with the goal of using new (to me) techniques like toe-up, French heels and stranded knitting.
2. give felting a try
3. consider beaded lace knitting

Excellent resolutions. I hope you continue to blog about your knitting adventures as I thoroughly enjoy hearing about your triumphs. I also hope I can be here for you for those times when solace and support are needed. Now I'm hoping I don't sound too much like a stalker! :-D Happy New Year, Karen!
Here's to a wonderful 2007 to you! May those rumbling ideas come to reality and those darn physical buggers kept away! (does that make sense?) Me too, trying to get those little sketches into reality. Hmm, my first step is not so many sketches on little pieces of paper here and there :) Terry

i don't have any specific projects in mind for 2007, but resolve to start earlier on my holiday crafting. :) i'm wishing you the best of health and an abundance of creativity in 2007!

I can't comment on beaded lace knitting, other than to shout "I wanna do that too!", but felting is dead easy and serious fun as long as you DON'T try to do it by hand in the sink. Or by foot in the shower. And socks, well, socks are the business. Socks are where it's at. Join the ranks of the sock-addicted...
