No Knitting, But One Amazing Cat!
I've been sneaking a few rows in here and there but still nothing significant to show here: a partial sleeve, a baby hat awaiting matching socks. The usual slow-knitting fare.
This, though, is a story I have to share. All I'll say is that Oscar is one amazing cat (link found via Yummy Yarn).
I'm going to keep icing my back in an attempt to recover from a hellish spinal injection. In the meantime, y'all have a fabulous weekend!

Spinal injection, yeesh, I'm not sure that I like the sound of that.
It's truly an amazing story, isn't it?
I hope you're getting along okay? Sending gentle
(((hugs)))
Spinal injection? *ouch* I hope you feel better *soon*. ((hug))
As for Oscar? I've heard of him before, but as I was reading his story, tears came to my eyes. What an amazing cat. (Okay, I might be PMS'ing just a wee bit too. Was that TMI?)
Oh my goodness that Oscar! Charlie and I just read it together.....I said sweet, he said scary! I guess if you see Oscar coming your way it would be a little scary.
Oh my goodness.....spinal injection! Hope you are ok!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Hey you! I thought you should know I used your post below to do a *button intervention* on a friend who was mourning the loss of our Tender Buttons shop. Thanks!
Oh wow, what an amazing story. I got a little teary reading it. What a wonderful thing for the residents and their family to have that comfort when they most need it.
Take care of yourself, I hope you feel better soon.
Found your blog via Ravelry and the 'Stashers' group. Your link to Oscar's story is now bookmarked, for a future blog entry of my own.
I had a cortisone shot in my foot last week; I cannot imagine how much worse a shot to your back/spine must feel. Brava, indeed that you had the oomph to post.
Oh my. Oscar is a very special kitty, isn't he?
I hope you feel better soon.
