ShibuiKnits “Autumn” (top, bottom) “Honey” (middle)
I think shibui, or Japanese for “elegant with a touch of bitterness” perfectly describes the harbinger of change that is the first day of the Fall season.
Now THAT’s what I call a centerpiece!
Blessings, twin!
Truly some amazing colors in this yarn! It looks so luxurious and soft. Autumn is by far my favorite time of the year. Time to get in some more knitting:)
Just beautiful
i miss the autumn colours!
can’t wait to see what you make with those beautiful colours.
lovely photo. won’t it be nice when fall comes for good? i am longing for a crisp day and apple cider, which your ‘honey’ yarn reminds me of… 🙂
Love the yarn decor.
Beautiful!
(((hugs)))
Great haiku, and I love the look of your seasonal yarn display. Fall is my favorite time of year!
This looks nothing short of delicious!!!
What will you be creating with this beauty?????
Lovely, Lovely, photo!
Wonderful haiku! And the yarn is beautiful and perfect for fall.
Fall brings the smell of fireplaces and the tastes of cinnamon and spice. That’s what those colors say to me. How beautiful the photo is.
You enabler you!
lovely!
Mmmmmm, have you been to The Loopy Ewe again? Luscious, simply luscious, but I could see the top/bottom color as a hot/salsa/south beach florida springtime color as well.
Oh, fall. I’ve seen Fall in bits and pieces whenever we traveled, but I’ve never *lived* with Fall weather. The trees are turning colors *exactly* like those in your pictures, here in Germany. So, so beautiful!

Well, Fall is here where I live. I regreted wearing short sleeves while running errands today. Also, we’re predicted to have showers every other day this week and morning fog on the days we have no rain.
Interesting choice of green they made in that colorway – not the traditional olive-y color.
Hope you’re feeling better and the injection worked.
Oh I love this! I don’t think I’ve seen that particiular color before. The way you styled it, yum!
I still fear fall is mythical. 🙁
MMMMMMMM green and orange ::::homer simpson drool::::
This is so much prettier than any I’ve seen on any website (dagnabit!)
Even though I don’t see fall coming with a touch of bitterness, I love the translation for shibui. I’m looking forward to some rain!
Those red beads really make that yarn pop!
